AlbumWeb 4 Enables Rapid Creation of HTML Photo Albums Photoactions AlbumWeb enables users to create high-quality HTML photo albums, photo portfolios, slideshows for presenting photographs, artwork together with annotations, music and voiceovers. July 17, 2009 - Photoactions today announces AlbumWeb 4, a new photo album authoring tool that lets anyone create beautiful HTML albums and slideshows from photos, video and audio narrations. The user can upload the album to FTP server, send by email as a ZIP archive, save locally to hard disk, or burn onto a CD disk. Additional plug-ins enable the AlbumWeb to output the album to new formats and destinations, such as Picasa and Flickr. Out of the box, the beginner can start a new album project without the need for the user manual. Using the tabs and wizards, one can select a preferred album theme from the library of pre-made skins, create album chapters, add photos and video and edit images using a wide variety of tools and effects. For example, you can remove red-eye defect, enhance contrast and resize the image. Changes to a photo are stored and displayed only in the album, while source files on the hard drive remain unchanged. To add more life to the album, the user can record a voiceover narration for each photo using the built-in audio recorder and a microphone. The final step is to select the destination to output the album, which can be the local computer, network, or the Internet. The program allows the user to edit properties of an album, chapters and photos. Just select the item to edit and use the mouse and keyboard to enter name, description, keywords, rating, slideshow timing, and background music. Properties can be set for each photograph individually, or for several files all together. Unlike many of today"s Flash applications, the markup of AlbumWeb HTML album is search-engine friendly and can be indexed by all search engines, which will make your album a magnet for visitors from the Web. AlbumWeb has the built-in theme editor to create a custom theme that will adapt to the design of the existing website. The user can define the layout for all pages, choose a menu bar, set custom color for text, background, define the size of thumbnails and take care of everything else to create a gorgeous looking album. Available now, Album Web 4 costs $39.95 (USD). A free 30-day trial is available. Read more at http://www.photoactions.com/.
