KO Approach is a Windows Shell enhancement that allows you to access your files and folders quicker. Version 0.4.4 is here and it"s better than ever! An easy-to-use Setup program performs installation in literally a few seconds. Once installed, Approach runs in the background on your computer, consuming just a tiny bit of the system resources. In fact, you may even forget that it is running as you get used to it. Approach minimizes the number of mouse movements you need to perform to access your files. You are always one click away from any file, no matter how complicated your folder structure is. Just click on a folder icon in Windows Explorer, hold mouse button pressed for a while, and a menu will appear displaying the folder"s contents. Navigate this menu and its sub-menus, and locate even a deeply buried file. Click the program"s Tray Icon to instantly access your favorite items via a customizable menu. An extra item lists recent commands from the Run dialog box. Open up the Approach Items menu, choose Run, and fire up a command from the menu that will appear. It"s a huge time saver for commands that you use most frequently! Instantly browse the entirety of the parent folder hierarchy by CTRL+clicking on the title bar of any Explorer window. You can instruct Titlebar Menus to order items parent-to-child or child-to-parent. The current folder can also be automatically highlighted. Approach now ships with four plug-in modules. The Scope plug-in allows for previewing graphics files of most popular formats (GIF, JPEG, TIFF, WMF, BMP, EMF, PNG), right from KO Approach menus! Similarly, InstantWave and InstantTxt enable WAV sound playback and text file previewing. ClipboardAssistant extends contextual menus by adding extra commands. For files, you can copy to clipboard the path to the selected item. For directories, you can copy to clipboard the entire folder listing! KO Approach has improved look and feel. Menus always look consistently with the Operating System, no matter which version of Windows you are running. Approach works great with the Aero theme. Approach supports both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. We have also put a lot of effort into optimizing version 0.4.4 to reduce resource consumption and provide greater stability and speed. Approach is a truly multi-language product. Running Approach in your native language is just as easy as downloading a Language file and switching it from the Options Window.
